The lockdown added to the anxiety about the future that most of us are feeling right now can lead us to a helpless state of mind. Like most of us, your routine is probably disrupted and so is your diet and workout.

Breaking a sweat in your living room may not be the most appealing form of workout, but if done correctly, it can surely boost your mood and help your body to keep fit and your immune system strong.

With the help of a PT, we chose a HIIT circuit for you. Fast and all out. The exercise movements require only your bodyweight but feel free to add some dumbbells for that extra challenge. Turn that TV series off, turn the music on and let’s get to it!

Part 1 –

30 seconds- Jump squats

10-second rest

30 seconds- Alternate Jumping Lunges

10-second rest

30 seconds- Ski Jumps (Side Jump Squats)

10-second rest

  • Repeat 3x with a 1min break between each round

 

Part 2

30 seconds- Mountain Climbers

10 second rest

30 seconds- Cheast to Floor Burpees

10 second rest

30 seconds- Plank Walk Out

10 second rest

  • Repeat 3x with a 1min break between each round

 

This workout is a fat-burning HIIT workout which will only take 20-30 minutes and works the whole body!
