OUR STORY

We had a dream

We wanted to create the best-cut bikini we have ever worn... and so we did!

And it is...

Sustainable

'We had the desire to develop a brand in line with sustainable practices, from textile to production'.

We mixed three elements:

our love for Nature, Brazil

and Active Lifestyle.

From there, SixtyNinety came to life.

An eco-friendly swimwear and activewear brand born in Brazil and raised in London now started selling worldwide.

SixtyNinety Swimwear is made with Fluity CO2, the first biodegradable synthetic yarn in the world.

Your regular swimwear will take approximately 13 years to decompose in a landfill.

Going green - from packaging to textile, we offer products that will not have a negative impact on the environment.

SixtyNinety Activewear

Is made with Lycra Sports Pro.

This smart fabric uses compression to improve performance.

Our leggings are designed to fit the female body with comfort, featuring a high waist band, anti-camel toe stitching and sweat-wicking material.

‘Because we spend our days in activewear, we understand what women are looking for.

Functional

It is about wearing and item that is functional, without compromising your style.

Brazilian Engineering

Because we prefer spending time on the beach rather than trying many bikinis on before finding the one, we designed a Swimwear the fits to perfection.

When you wear the right piece of fabric, you fear nothing.

We took away all unnecessary elastic bands, and designed a bikini tailored to the female body- seamless, extra soft & Sexy.

Created by Women for Women

The sad reality is ‘85% of sweatshop worker are young women between the ages of 15 and 25. They are often desperately poor and work very long hours, sometimes up to 20 hours a day, and their wages still do not give them enough to feed and clothe their families.’

This is why we produce 100% of our items in a small factory in Brazil which is ran by women.

About Us

The idea of SixtyNinety was born during the Burning Man Festival – a great place for new projects to take shape.

The company was founded by best friends Aline Lima and Daniela Trece in 2015.

Vanusa Fonseca came on board in 2017, and now Alina, Daniela and Vanusa are the Brazilian version of the Three Musketeers – except wearing bikinis instead of quilted velvet.
